The Yellow Deli in Nelson

We are open 24 hours a day, 5 days a week (24/5).
(Noon Sunday through 3 pm Friday afternoon)

Nestled in the beautiful Kootenay Mountains of British Columbia, in the Historic town of Nelson, our Yellow Deli Restaurant is open 24 hours a day. Formerly the Preservation House, it has been remodelled with an upstairs, downstairs and the building next door called the Cramshack with extra seating during peak times and a study area for students with WiFi at other times of day. For many years we were known as the Preserved Seed, but now, in an effort to unify with our restaurants around the world we have finally become The Yellow Deli.
We have come a long way since our early beginnings back in 2001, where we started with a very small section downstairs as a tea house with three tables. We sold yerba mates, our own fresh baked bread, and some baked goods from our bakery. Many transformations have taken place, and much care and hard work has gone into the place including the outdoor patio at the Cramshack, the decks on the upstairs portion.

The restaurant features plenty of outdoor and indoor seating with gorgeous views of the lake and the town, and a rustic wood burning stove for heat in the downstairs section. We strive to provide our patrons with a superb experience, healthy food, a lovely atmosphere and affordable prices. Whether you're after a Deli Rose sandwich, a bowl of Sunshine soup, or just a fresh yerba mate, come on over. We'd love to serve you.

The Twelve Tribes is a confederation of twelve self-governing tribes, composed of self-governing communities. We are disciples of the Son of God whose name in Hebrew is Yahshua. We follow the pattern of the early church in Acts 2:44 and 4:32, truly believing everything that is written in the Old and New Covenants of the Bible, and sharing all things in common.
